Our Puppy Price
At Golden Maple Retrievers, our puppies are raised with love, early socialization, careful planning, and a strong commitment to health, temperament, and responsible family placement.
After reviewing current online Canadian Golden Retriever puppy prices and setting our pricing below that market level, we have established a fair, family-friendly public price for our program.
Price listed per puppy unless otherwise stated in writing.
What Your Price Includes
- Family-home raising with daily care and interaction
- Early socialization and age-appropriate development support
- Basic wellness care and puppy records at go-home time
- Breeder guidance before and after pickup
- A thoughtful and responsible puppy placement process
Deposit Policy
To reserve a puppy or confirm an approved placement, we require a deposit equal to 65% of the puppy price.
Due once your application is approved and a puppy or placement is offered.
Due before pickup, delivery, or final transfer of the puppy.
Reservation Terms
A puppy is not considered reserved until the deposit has been received and confirmed by us in writing. We reserve the right to decline any application or placement if we feel a home is not the right fit for one of our puppies.
95% Refundable Deposit Policy
Our deposit is 95% refundable under approved terms. We retain 5% as an administrative and reservation processing fee to cover communication, handling, planning, and the time spent holding a puppy or placement for your family.

Refund Terms & Accepted Reasons
We understand that life circumstances can change unexpectedly. A deposit may qualify for a 95% refund when cancellation is requested for a reasonable and genuine circumstance, including:
- Serious personal or family emergency
- Documented health or medical hardship
- Unexpected housing or relocation issues
- Major financial hardship
- Changes in litter timing, availability, or breeder-side placement suitability
- A situation where the puppy-family match is no longer appropriate
Refund requests should be made in writing. All requests are reviewed individually to ensure fairness, responsible planning, and the wellbeing of every puppy.
Transferable Deposit Options
If a family is unable to move forward at the time of reservation, the deposit may also be transferred instead of refunded, subject to approval.
- Held for a future litter
- Applied as credit toward a later puppy placement
- Converted into a gifted credit for an approved family member or recipient, with prior written approval
Transfer requests are subject to timing, future litter availability, and any updated pricing in effect at the time of future placement.
Pickup, Delivery & Additional Costs
Transportation, delivery, flight arrangements, travel crates, veterinary travel certificates, or special handling are not included unless specifically stated. Any additional travel costs will be quoted separately based on destination and delivery method.
